Earth Sculptor
Reallusion is raising the bar once again by introducing its users to Earth Sculptor. This program is an effective and simple way to create terrains without having to own expensive software. The programs ease of use combined with its ability to work with with graphics programs such as Photoshop allow for great looking terrains that can add a lot to the visual element of iClone.

Space Station Project Freebie
This freebie project is presented by the CoolCreators and iCloneRevolution as an experiment in creating a space scene with many features.
This project file is very large in terms of the 3D space used. You will need to use the "Shift" key when moving objects or cameras around because the 3D space is so large. While there are some significant poly counts we have experienced no problems in manipulating the scene. If your computer has trouble handing the scene then turn the realtime rendering down a level or two.

Preparing a Google 3D Warehouse Model for iClone via 3DXChange
This tutorial covers preparing a Google 3D Warehouse model for use in iClone using 3DXchange. An often overlooked feature is the "Exclude SKP Back Faces" feature of 3DXchange which in some cases will reduce the face count of imported 3D Warehouse models by 50% thereby increasing performance and allowing for more models in a scene.
A short simple tutorial that shows the steps necessary to cull the back faces and repair any damage this process can do to some Sketchup models. A recommended procedure for all Sketchup models irregardless of face count.

Candle and Flame
This tutorial will show you how to create a candle and holder in the free Sketchup Version 6 (must be Version 6 as 3DXchange Version 2 does not work with the newer Sketchup Version 7 file format). How to use iClone 3DXchange Version 2 to convert the Sketchup file to iClone vns format and how to use a cone with diffuse, opacity and glow maps to create the flame. Sketchup 6 source file and iClone 3 iProject file are available for download at the beginning of the tutorial.

Cone of Light Tip and Download
We have received some requests for information on a light effect used in some of our vids. Creating an illusion of a cone of light streaming from a lamp post is not that difficult to achieve in Version 3 of iclone. In fact all you need is a simple cone prop which you make semi-transparent and then play around with the light settings and cone prop to achieve the final result.
What you need are:
- Some sort of lamp post or light
- Cone Prop
- iClone Point Light
